The TrueTAPS (R) System includes the following components:
Head Electronics TS.TAPS.002
Rechargeable battery included. Estimated active time of 13-53 Hours dependent on usage. Semi permanently connected to the E-Head Harness. Turns on/off with a button. LED lights indicate status and syncing success. Confirmation by vibration of scoring contact. Automatically turns off after no action in 30 minutes. Can also manually turn off via button. Electronic units chargeable via standard microUSB cable.
Head Harness TS.TAPS.019
Adjustable straps come pre-attached to Head Electronics when purchased with bundle. Can be purchased separately to replace units worn out over time. Straps are designed to wrap around an existing head protection and not directly to the head. Replace strap portion only when necessary. Water resistant. Wipe or pat with water to clean. Do not soak. Do not iron. Do not place in laundry machine or drier.
Body Electronics TS.TAPS.001
Rechargeable battery included. Estimated sleep time of 400 days and active time of 55 Hours. Semi permanently connected to the E-Body Vest and protected in a pocket on the E-Body Vest, this unit is only accessed for charging or during E-Vest replacement. LED Lights indicate power on, sync with head electronics, and charging. They are visible through the transparent pocket cover. Goes to sleep when inactive (Head Electronics must be turned off) after 60 seconds. Electronic units chargeable via standard microUSB cable.
Body Vest TS.TAPS.012, TS.TAPS.013, TS.TAPS.014
Electronic Body Vest comes in 3 different sizes. A Small vest would fit for a standard Taekwondo reversible chestgear Size 00-0, Medium vest for 1-2, Large vest for 3-4. The E-Body Vest can be worn under or over a body protector. Flexible and light, with adjustable straps, this add on is barely noticeable. Intended to be used under an existing body protector. Highly water resistant. Wipe or pat with mild soap and water to clean, avoiding water contact with the Body Electronic. Do not soak. Do not directly iron. Do not place in laundry machine or drier.
